Caladium ‘Red Heart’
Caladium ‘Red Heart’
A cultivar of Caladium Bicolor, this variety’s foliage is as the name suggests very red!
- Although large, Caladium leaves are papery thin and delicate so direct light will cause searing brown spots, scorching and/or bleaching.
- Caladium grow from bulbs or tubers, meaning they will go dormant in winter and old foliage must be cut back at this time to make way for new, spring growth.
- There are 1000+ cultivars of Caladium, but each one creates a strong, architectural effect and stands out for its bright, multi-coloured patterning.
