Native to South Africa and Namibia, this small shrub like plant grows in arid environments and stores water in its trunk. This little guy does not need heavy watering and will tell you its thirsty by its trunk shrivelling.

How to care for your Fockea –

Water:  Water infrequently and allow soil to dry out in between.

Light: They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight, direct sun can scorch the leaves.

Humidity: They love warmth and humidity, a bathroom or kitchen would be a perfect spot.

Temperature: They prefer warm temperatures about 20 degrees C.
