The Varilight Fused Spur Switches are designed to meet the latest European Safety Legislation & British safety Standards. The Fused spur switches by Varilight are double pole and rated to 13 Amps. Fused spur switches are designed for appliances that do not have or require, a fused plug, commonly also used for high powered electrical equipment with heavy continuous loads. This enables the appliance to be isolated by a single cable from a ring main, useful for safety and maintenance purposes. Typical locations & appliances of Fused spur switches are Kitchen & Utility room areas, dishwashers & washing machines often sitting under work tops are the most common scenarios.
